Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2026-04-27
These Terms govern your use of Sandbox Axe Throwing's website at {{site_url}} and your booking, payment for, and participation in our in-person experiences at 19417 Jollyville RD, Austin, TX, 78660, including axe throwing, splatter paint, axe splatter, and escape room experiences. By booking, paying, or visiting, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About us

Our contact information is:
- Email: jarvis@crewxi.com

- Address: 19417 Jollyville RD, Austin, TX, 78660
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a booking or create an account.
If you book for a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on the minor's behalf and sign any required waiver before participation. Some experiences have minimum age requirements or other participation limits. For example, splatter paint, axe throwing, axe splatter, and escape room bookings may each have different age or group requirements. You are responsible for checking the experience page before booking and making sure everyone in your group is eligible.
You must provide accurate and complete information when booking. We may cancel a booking if the information provided is false or materially incomplete.
3. Bookings and payment
By making a booking, you agree to pay the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes and any disclosed processing fees. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due at the time of booking unless we agree otherwise in writing for a group event, private event, or other custom booking. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card number. By submitting payment information, you authorize the full charge for the booking total.
If a transaction cannot be completed, including because a time slot is no longer available or a payment method is declined, the booking is not confirmed unless and until we notify you that it is confirmed. If payment is taken for a booking that cannot be completed, we will refund that payment.
Cash walk-in purchases may be subject to applicable sales tax, including the current 8.25% rate where required.
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling, no-show, and weather-related issues are handled under our Refund Policy, not these Terms.
4. Waiver, conduct, and safety
Participation in our experiences requires a completed participant waiver. Adults must sign their own waiver. A parent or legal guardian must sign for a minor where allowed. The waiver is separate from these Terms and controls the risk acknowledgment and other experience-specific provisions. If you do not sign the required waiver, you may not participate.
You and everyone in your group must follow staff instructions, posted rules, and any pre-session briefing for the booked experience.
We may refuse service or remove a participant, without refund, if that person:
- refuses to follow staff instructions or posted rules;
- appears impaired in a way that affects safety or operations;
- behaves aggressively, abusively, or disruptively toward staff or other guests; or
- intentionally damages, misuses, or interferes with our equipment or facility.
Any refund or rescheduling questions belong in the Refund Policy. Any privacy or photo-related questions belong in the Privacy Policy.
5. Liability
The participant waiver contains the main terms relating to risk and assumption of risk for participation in our experiences. These Terms do not replace that waiver.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sandbox Axe Throwing's total liability for claims arising out of or related to your booking, visit, or participation is limited to the amount paid for the applicable booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms waives liability that cannot legally be waived.
6. Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling
Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, no-shows, and related timing rules, including the 24-hour cancellation cutoff, are covered by our Refund Policy. That policy applies separately to those issues.
7. Intellectual property
Questions about website content, branding, or intellectual property belong in a separate website or intellectual property policy, not these Terms.
8. Privacy
Questions about personal information, marketing communications, or photos and video belong in our Privacy Policy, not these Terms.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the most recent revision. The Terms in effect at the time of your booking generally apply to that booking unless we state otherwise.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of TX, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first at jarvis@crewxi.com or (512) 222-2222 so we can try to resolve it directly. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in TX, and you agree to that venue.
11. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms or a dispute under them can be sent to:
- Email: jarvis@crewxi.com
- Phone: (512) 222-2222
These Terms were prepared with the assistance of automated drafting tools. They are not legal advice. Sandbox Axe Throwing strongly recommends having an attorney licensed in TX review these Terms — and the participant waiver template (managed separately in the Waivers section of admin) — before relying on them. The waiver, not these Terms, is typically the load-bearing legal document for in-person experiences and varies significantly by state.
