Refund Policy

At Sandbox Axe Throwing, we keep refunds simple and tied to the time and space reserved for your group, whether you booked Axe Throwing, an Escape Room, the Splatter Paint Studio, or Axe Splatter.
Standard Refund Window
You may cancel your booking for a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled start time.
Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Booking
Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund.
Same-Day No-Shows
If your group does not arrive for the reservation and no cancellation request was made in advance, the booking is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
Rescheduling Instead of Refunding
If your plans change, contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to help you reschedule based on availability, but rescheduling is not guaranteed and does not change the refund rules above.
Partial Attendance
If fewer guests attend than originally booked, or if your group chooses not to use part of the reserved time, we do not issue partial refunds for unused spots, missed guests, or shortened participation.
Private Events and Specialty Bookings
Private events, large group bookings, and specialty reservations may require dedicated staff, reserved rooms or lanes, and blocked availability. Those bookings may have stricter refund limits if stated in writing at the time of booking.
Weather, Facility, or Operational Issues
If Sandbox Axe Throwing cancels your booking due to weather, safety concerns, facility issues, or other circumstances on our side, you will be offered either:
- a full refund, or
- the option to reschedule for a future available date.
If severe weather, power outages, or other events outside anyone’s reasonable control affect operations, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or, where appropriate, issue a refund.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Gift Cards and Promotional Offers
Questions about gift cards, promotional discounts, or other credits are handled under the relevant purchase or promotion terms. This refund policy only covers whether a booking payment is refundable.
